Basic Pistol Course -$295 per person

 

This course is appropriate for beginners with little to no experience with handguns. The course introduces participants to the use and handling of handguns. The course covers both semi-automatic pistols, as well as revolvers. The evolution of the pistol is explained from the early days of cap and ball, through today's advanced combat handguns. A particular focus is devoted to the handgun as a personal defense weapon and the laws relevant to carrying a pistol openly or concealed will be addressed in depth. Following the classroom session, participants will fire a semi-automatic pistol and a revolver on the range. The first part of the course will take place in the classroom and will include theory and dry-fire drills. After a 1-hr lunch break, we will do several hours of live fire training on the range.

 

Intermediate Pistol Course -$395 per person

 

This course is appropriate for concealed carriers and those with some experience with handguns. The course picks up where the basic pistol course left off. It introduces the more experienced shooter to the next level of defensive pistol handling and use. This course focuses on the Israeli point-shooting method and includes: The Israeli draw, Israeli shooting position, drawing from concealment, shooting from the kneel, rapid reloads, clearing stoppages, chambering one handed, reloading one handed, shooting while advancing on a target, shooting after physical exertion, shooting in low-light conditions, shooting around obstacles, clearing corners and basic CQB (close quarter battle). The first part of the course will take place in the classroom and will include theory and dry-fire drills. After a 1-hr lunch break, we will do several hours of live fire training on the range.

 

Advanced Pistol Course -$495 per person

 

This course is appropriate for those with extensive experience with handguns and focuses on the Israeli close quarter combat methods known as "Lashab" (Urban Warfare) and "Lotar" (Counter-Terror shooting). The course specializes on the discipline of room clearing and shooting from a vehicle. This high-intensity course employs body armor as well as rail-mounted flashlights and lasers

 

Prices quoted above are on a per-person basis. We provide discounted rates to groups of more than four participants. All courses listed above are one-day courses. They last from approximately 9:00am until 5:00pm and include a one hour lunch break. The price includes ammunition, range access, tactical gear, ear and eye protection, targets, etc. We provide the firearms for each course, however if you have your own gun(s) that you wish to use during the course, please check with us in advance. All courses must be paid for in full in advance, and are non-refundable. Because of this we advise everyone to be 100% certain well in advance that they will be able to attend the course they book on the particular date they choose. Courses must be booked a minimum of one week in advance. Courses are available Sunday through Friday. No courses given on Saturdays or Jewish holidays. All those applying for courses must be legally eligible to handle firearms. All those attending courses must be at least 18 years of age. Minors over age 12 are allowed to attend basic courses with parent or legal guardian present and with written consent. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and for any reason.
